Hiking trips in North-Karelia

When we talk about fully flexible hiking-programs, we really mean it! Eräkeskus is situated along the famous hiking trail "Karhunpolku", only 7 km away from the Nature Resort around Lakes Änäkäinen and only 30 km away from the hiking area Ruunaa, famous for whitewater rafting, hanging bridges and a perfect infrastructure. Since many years we are hiking in these areas and we know the most beautiful trails! This is why our hiking program is so fully flexible! Because we can combine so many trails together, make them longer, shorter, more demanding, easier, anything from 5 to 30 km or even more. Whether you wish a hiking trip from A to B or a round trip – we know the best possibilities. Fireplaces, wind shelters and plank bridges are maintained by the City of Lieksa and the Finnish Forest Government Metsähallitus. No question that we always have one or more dogs with us during the hike! And if one day hiking is not enough for you, we gladly join you for a 2- or 3-day hike with outside overnights! Sleeping bag, tent, cooking equipment and mattress will be provided by us, but you should take your own backpack and suitable shoes!

All of the 1-day-hiking-trips are charged at the standard price of € 95.-- per adult and € 70.-- per child up to 15 years and can be combined to multi-day activities.

The day-hikes can be booked daily from May 1st to September 15th. 

 

Pre-booked/confirmed day-activities are guaranteed and do not require a minimum number of participants. Activities booked on spot can not be guaranteed in every case! To simplify our weekly planning and guide assignment, we appreciate bookings before arrival.
